STARTING LINE : THEIS PARK, KANSAS CITY MO (intersection of Emanuel Cleaver Blvd and Oak Street)
Across from the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, just minuets from the Plaza and UMKC

Race Information:
Our second, annual 5K Run/Walk to benefit Kansas City House of Hope, a comprehensive residential treatment facility for hurting teens and their families.

The not-for-profit organization is parent-interactive with the goal of family unit restoration.

Tenative – Race Day Schedule:
6:45 – Parking Garage Shuttle From Plaza Garages (Wyandotte and Ward Parkway by “Halls” “Jack Stack”)
*Will complete a pick-up/drop-off run every 10 min
7:00 – Race Day Walk Up Registration

- Kid Fun (Balloon artist, Temporary tattoos, Hair spray color)
7:30 – Warm Up Fun
8:00 – RACE START
9:00 – Family Fun activities (FOOD, Balloon artist, Temporary tattoos, Hair spray color)
9:00/9:30 approximate – AWARDS And Start of TOT TROT Fun Run

Participation:
Hope Challenge is open to participants of all ages.
Strollers and Walkers are welcome (separate line-up behind the runner group).
There will be a kids Fun-Run following the completion of the 5K.
Participants can enjoy snacks as well as family friendly fun-filled games and activities on the park lawn following the race.

PLEASE PARK IN THE PLAZA PARKING GARAGES LOCATED ON WYANDOTTE (Near Halls and Jack Stack)
Street parking is limited.

Parking limitations: We are sorry for any inconvenience, but there is NO PARKING allowed on the residential streets of Locust and Rockhill Road (between Emanuel Cleaver Blvd. and 47th).
Additionally there will be volunteers stationed there to assure only residents travel those streets.
Kauffman Gardens has asked we not use their parking lot.
